Knotting Your Own Pearl Necklace: Discover the art of hand knotting with silk thread and baroque freshwater pearls. Learn how to thread and knot pearls using a single hand knot technique. Make a classic 16”- 18” baroque freshwater pearl necklace with knots in between and a gold color Tibetan clasp. Finish off your necklace with French wire for a professional fine jewelry store look. Lupus Foundation Of America – Walk To End Lupus Now

Walk to End Lupus Now events are conducted nationwide by the Lupus Foundation of America and its national network to raise money for lupus research, increase awareness of lupus, and rally public support for those who suffer from its brutal impact.

Walk to End Lupus Now, is America’s largest lupus Walk program – Every year more than 70,000 people affected by lupus participate in the Walk, which has grown to more than 60 cities across the country.

Specific Walk Information: 

• The Walk to End Lupus Now in Orlando takes place at Avalon Park on Saturday, September 21. 
• Schedule: registration for the Walk begins at 4:00 PM and the Walk begins at 5:30 PM.
• Walk route is approximately 1 mile 
• Estimated attendance: 600 walkers
• Funds raised through the Central Florida walk event will support life – saving research and education programs for people with lupus.
• This event will put your community’s energy on full display as we come together for one unified purpose – to end lupus. Bring your friends and family, learn more about lupus resources, take part in our ceremony, and of course, enjoy the Walk to End Lupus Now, Orlando Walk. You don’t want to miss the inspiring day we have planned for you! Come meet our sponsors and vendors and stop by our kid zone, food trucks, and more!
