A little over a month ago more than 50 east Orlando community leaders met in the Avalon Park Pavilion to connect and collaborate on like-minded initiatives. The purpose of this inaugural meeting was to ignite open and collaborative dialogue with business owners, government officials, non-profit and faith-based leaders, schools and activists, to discuss the needs and initiatives in East Orlando. This meeting was the first of a multi-faceted effort to learn and address the diverse needs in our community. After a lengthy discussion, the group determined that the next step is to hear from the community!
Our community is as diverse as it is vibrant, and your well-being is at the heart of our mission. To ensure we meet a holistic health and wellness aspiration approach, we are conducting a comprehensive health assessment in the form of a brief digital survey. And who better guide this process than the community members themselves? We want to hear directly from you!
We have compiled a series of questions that will help us better understand where the gaps are, where we are excelling and where we can grow. The survey data will be compiled, along with the information gathered from the community leaders into a report that will be used as a benchmark to develop and improve programming, amenities, resources, and services in our community.
Filling out this survey is essential to provide a voice to what truly matters to you. The survey has been designed to capture a wide range of perspectives and needs, addressing the unique requirements of our community members. By sharing your experiences, preferences, and expectations, you will will in turn help us create a tailor-made health and wellness experience that resonates with every individual.
Our simple request is for each of you to fill out the short survey linked here no later than November 26th. By doing so, you will be providing valuable information on what is important to you regarding health and wellness within your community. All answers are anonymous and will be used as a base to understand what the community views our overall health as, and how we can improve it through community action.
Empowering Health, Enriching Lives, Together.
