Avalon Park Arts & Culture Center:

Welcome to the heart of artistic expression and cultural immersion – the Avalon Park Art and Culture Center. Situated in the vibrant East Orlando community, this center is more than just a physical space; it’s a living testament to the local talent that flourishes here. Our volunteers are the lifeblood of this creative hub, dedicating their time and passion to curate a diverse collection of local art that resonates with the very essence of our region. As a beacon of inspiration, the Avalon Park Art and Culture Center stands as a testament to the power of community, fostering connections and celebrating the dynamic arts scene that thrives in East Orlando.

 

Events:

Food Truck Rallies (3/7, 5/23, 9/19):

Come on out to our quarterly ROCKIN’ food truck nights featuring local food trucks, music, games & neighborhood fun! Volunteers will aid with event entertainment, vendor setup and food truck load-in.

Absolutely Avalon (4/11):

Absolutely Avalon is a vibrant showcase of everything that makes Avalon Park truly extraordinary. Focused on Vendor Set-Up and Breakdown, this event transforms the community into a dynamic hub of arts and culture, featuring international food, music, and an array of talented vendors. From the careful arrangement of cultural displays to the seamless dismantling of stalls after the festivities, this celebration embodies the spirit of collaboration and creativity. Volunteers play a crucial role in curating a day of unforgettable experiences, ensuring Absolutely Avalon remains a cherished tradition for all.

July 4th Celebration (7/04):

The July 4th Celebration is a lively and patriotic event that brings the community together for a day of festive fun. Centered around Vendor Set-Up and Breakdown, this celebration transforms into a bustling marketplace filled with red, white, and blue. From the thoughtful placement of stalls to the efficient breakdown after the fireworks fade, the event captures the spirit of teamwork and celebration. Volunteers play a vital role in orchestrating a smooth and memorable experience, ensuring the magic of Independence Day resonates with every attendee.

Oktoberfest (10/10):

Our team seeks assistance in various capacities, including event setup, arrangement of tables and chairs, responding to inquiries, and guiding attendees to appropriate resources. You’ll have the opportunity to distribute event programs, direct both vendors and guests, and ensure the event’s smooth flow. Additionally, your vigilance in identifying concerns such as waste management and attendee satisfaction will be vital, with prompt reporting to the staff. Join us in creating an unforgettable Oktoberfest experience for all.

Avalon Aglow (12/05):

Avalon Aglow is an enchanting event where vendors come together to create a vibrant marketplace. With a focus on Vendor Set-Up and Breakdown, this event showcases a seamless blend of preparation and dismantling, bringing to life a captivating experience for both vendors and attendees. From the meticulous arrangement of stalls to the swift and organized breakdown at the event’s conclusion, Avalon Aglow embodies the art of curating an immersive and fleeting world of wonder.
