Located near Founder’s Square in the heart of downtown Avalon Park, The Wine Bar at Tim’s Wine Market features a menu of 30+ by-the-glass offerings, international beers, and fresh lunch and dinner options. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. The menu items change frequently, encouraging guests to try new culinary and wine options each week. Tim’s Avalon Park also offers wine education courses, tasting events, and unique activities that celebrate the marriage of food and wine. It is a destination point during Avalon Park’s annual festivities including Absolutely Avalon and the July 4th Spectacular. We are also available for private parties, events, and catering.
Mark and Keisha bring a passion for wine to the first combination wine bar/wine market in the Tim’s family. Mark has worked in human resources, mass communication, and non-profit management. Keisha has been a professor and academic administrator for the past two decades. They have long been engaged in humanitarian pursuits that have allowed them to travel the world engaging in anti-human trafficking efforts, economic justice for women and minorities, and seeking relief for oppressed peoples.
Along the way, the two have been exposed to a wide range of culinary experiences, which eventually led them to a fascination with wines and winemaking. Both hold Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) certifications and have studied with the Italian Wine Central and Napa Valley Wines programs.
Kinsey Hamer, Avalon Park’s General Manager, has a degree in hospitality management and is WSET certified Level III. She is an expert on French viticulture.
