Nonprofit Enthusiast hosts grand opening in Downtown Avalon Park at Community Event this Saturday
ORLANDO, Fla. (Apr. 5, 2022) – Nonprofit Enthusiast, a full-service consulting firm providing resources and support to empower nonprofits to sustain their work and implement solutions to solve community-wide issues, is having its grand opening this Saturday, April 9. The event will take place from 5:30 pm – 9:00 pm at 13000 Avalon Lake Drive and is part of the 18th annual Absolutely Avalon event in Downtown Avalon Park. The event celebrates arts and culture is free and open to the public and features, international food, music and vendors, activities for kids, community performances, and a laser light show.
“It feels absolutely wonderful to be able to call Avalon Park our home,” said Lasheena Williams, Chief Enthusiast Officer of Nonprofit Enthusiast. “Our goal is to provide resources, education, motivation and support to our local nonprofits. We’re using the collective impact model and aspire to be the glue to bringing the nonprofit community together to work toward a common goal and move in the same direction.”
Nonprofit Enthusiast will be giving away prizes to attendees thanks to the support of local Avalon Park businesses. Prizes include a free one-hour photo session for 8×10 photos from Kossina Creative Photography, a floral giveaway from Flowers Bouquets & More, a coffee basket from Rosso Coffee Bar, and much more. The opening of Nonprofit Enthusiast is in conjunction with the debut of the Avalon Park Arts & Culture Center, also opening on Saturday in Downtown Avalon Park. With the grand opening of its office in Avalon Park, Nonprofit Enthusiast will continue working with community leaders to strengthen the county. In less than a year, Nonprofit Enthusiast has provided resources to over 400 nonprofit leaders nationwide.
The organization has also been selected as the Business of the Week by Avalon Park. Its most recent collaboration was with Encore Foundation, Inc. to support the Avalon Park Arts & Culture Center. The 5,000 square-foot space, with more than 15 rooms, will serve as a complex where schools, rotating artists, and organizations can showcase diverse works of all mediums. Additionally, there are plans for a gift shop, Instagram wall, and spaces for educational opportunities such as paint nights and other workshops. The center will remain there until it is leased, at which time the arts center will relocate to another space in Downtown Avalon.
