Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the Night Market
The Happy Go Lucky Night Market on March 15 brings the community together for an evening of shopping, food, and live entertainment. Downtown Avalon Park will be lined with local vendors offering handcrafted goods, delicious bites, and festive fun. The Brown Bag Brass Band will take the stage, filling the air with lively Irish music.
Explore Art & Culture at the Cultural Kaleidoscope Art Reception
Celebrate artistic expression and cultural diversity at the Cultural Kaleidoscope Art Reception on March 15 from 6-8 PM at the Avalon Park Arts & Culture Center. This exhibition features a collection of bold, vibrant works that showcase the rich patterns, intricate textures, and unique inspirations of different cultures. Artists share their perspectives through visually stunning pieces, making this a must-see event for art lovers and the community alike. The exhibition runs from February 28 to April 30, so if you can’t make the reception, be sure to stop by and experience this cultural showcase before it’s gone!
Latin Night at the Marketplace
The Marketplace at Avalon Park will host Latin Night on March 8, featuring Latin music, dancing, and a lively atmosphere. All food vendors will be open, offering a variety of options to enjoy while taking in the music. Whether grabbing a meal or a drink or joining in on the dancing, it’s a great way to spend the evening.
Music, Trivia, and More at the Marketplace
The Marketplace at Avalon Park will also feature live music and weekly trivia nights throughout the month. Trivia takes place every Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, with prizes for the top teams. Guests can grab food from one of the Marketplace’s many vendors and test their knowledge in a fun, casual setting.
Food Truck Night Returns
Food Truck Night on March 16 brings a variety of food trucks to Town Park, offering everything from street tacos to gourmet comfort food. It’s a great opportunity to try something new while enjoying the outdoors with friends and family.
Book Club at Avalon General
The Murder Book Club will meet on March 19 to discuss Death in Disguise by Carolyn Graham. Hosted at Avalon General, the book club is a chance to connect with fellow readers and dive into a great mystery.
Outdoor Fun for the Whole Family
Families can enjoy time outside at Kite Day on March 23 at Town Park. The open space and fresh air make for the perfect setting to fly a kite and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.
